  • Terrific State Farm Insurance Agency in Nashville! We have been using CM State Farm Insurance for our home owners insurance and auto insurance for several years now. They offer very affordable auto insurance and affordable home insurance. If you are looking for a State Farm Agent in Nashville I highly recommend them. We also get the best quotes for our auto insurance and home owners insurance!

Myself and my partner stopped into the State Farm office of Charles Sargent (located at 4094 Hillsboro Road, Nashville TN) on July 25th around 4 PM in the afternoon to move our rental insurance policy from another State Farm office to their office. When we entered the office we initially had a feeling of being an unwelcome guest. There were two staff members working in the front. One individual was on the phone and the other individual was not servicing any guests. After standing in the room, waiting and having the staff member just stare at us, we finally indicated that we wanted to move our policy from another office here because we live up the street. At which point he told us we would have to contact our current office and tell them we wanted to move our policy before he could do anything. This seemed strange as we had moved a policy from one office to another before without having to complete such a process. He did not explain the process to us or offer his assistance in the process. We then explained to him that this was time sensitive, and asked what we needed to do to complete the change. He said we could call our current office and request the change be made. I proceeded to call our current office at that point, they seemed confused as to why they need to give their “confirmation”. The current office said the other office could call them if they needed any information. I told the staff member this and he then proceeded to ask for our current offices address. We told him we did not know it completely, he did not offer to look it up for us or help us further. We went to our car to get the address. Once we gave him the address, he called our current office. He then hung up and said our current agent would have to sign a paper before he could do anything for us. He did not give us any idea of how long this would take. During our entire time talking to the staff member, he was very disengaged and apathetic. He acted as though we were bothering him and he had no real interest in obtaining our business. When we expressed our frustration to him and reiterated why we need to make this change in a timely manner, once again he was uninterested. He then sarcastically told us to “have a good day”. After this encounter I would be highly cautious of this office, if this is how they treat potential costumers, how helpful would they be when you needed to file a claim. My visit to the office was not helpful, not pleasant, and an overall waste of my time.
