  Knoxville, TN. No longer a good company. I have had home owners insurance since 1994. The service and cost were good UNTIL!!!!!! I had to file a claim in 2010. In six years, my premium has more than DOUBLED, and this is with having to increase my deductible from $500 to $2500, and it still has more than doubled. I was told by my agent that if I had to file another claim, they would drop me as a customer. I am 61 years old and my husband lost his job a couple of years ago. I am the only income and I have BEGGED my agent to let me lower my coverage. I have a house that is 90 years old. It appraises at $77000, but Safeco says I have to carry $232000 in coverage. I would love to stay with this company but no one will help me. DON'T DROP ME, HELP ME!
